Terms of Service ​

1. Agreement to Terms ​

By accessing or using ProseForge ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service ​

ProseForge is an AI-powered creative writing platform that allows users to generate stories and images using artificial intelligence. The Service operates on a credit-based system where users purchase credits to use AI generation features.

3. Eligibility ​

You must be at least 13 years old to use ProseForge. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Account Registration ​

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

5. Credits and Payments ​

  • Credits are purchased through our payment processor (Stripe)
  • Credits are used to generate AI content (text and images)
  • Credit costs for different operations are displayed in the Service
  • Unused credits do not expire

6. Refund Policy ​

All purchases are final. Due to the digital nature of our products:

  • Credit purchases are non-refundable
  • Subscription payments are non-refundable
  • No refunds will be issued for unused credits

If you experience technical issues preventing use of purchased credits, contact proseforgestories@gmail.com.

7. User Content and Ownership ​

You own your content. All stories, text, and images you generate using ProseForge belong to you. You may use, modify, publish, or sell your generated content without restriction.

ProseForge does not claim ownership of your content and will not use your content for AI training or other purposes without your explicit consent.

8. Acceptable Use ​

You agree NOT to:

  • Generate illegal content
  • Generate content that sexualizes minors
  • Use the Service for spam or harassment
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or exploit the system
  • Share account credentials
  • Reverse engineer the Service

9. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer ​

Content generated by AI may be:

  • Inaccurate or contain errors
  • Similar to content generated for other users
  • Not suitable for all purposes

You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated content before use.

10. Intellectual Property ​

The ProseForge platform, branding, and technology are owned by ProseForge. Your right to use the Service does not grant ownership of our intellectual property.

11. Service Availability ​

  • We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time
  • Scheduled maintenance will be announced when possible

12. Limitation of Liability ​

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PROSEFORGE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to ProseForge in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Termination ​

  • You may close your account at any time
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately
  • We may delete your data after account termination

14. Changes to Terms ​

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.

15. Governing Law ​

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
